Pricing & Terms

Many experts disagree with our pricing approach. Why? Because we’re upfront about our consulting fees.

Our competition withholds pricing information to lure you in. We think this approach is old school. What’s more, we’re not looking to smother you with some slick PowerPoint presentation; rather, if you’d like to speak with a principal security engineer about your computer technology needs, then we’re happy to come out for a free consult.

We’re looking to help you and your computer systems run smoothly, reliably and as cost-effectively as possible, while you focus on your core business. When you sit with our lead principal security engineer to tell us what you need, you’ll do business with us. We’re down-to-earth, professional and capable; just without the song and dance. And we provide the cost numbers you’re looking for on-the-spot, not weeks later hidden in a long document.

We encourage you to buy the business IT services you want. It’s not our intent to lock your business into anything.

Project-based Fee
In many cases, certainly not all, we can provide you a flat project-based price. Examples include: a specialized practice software server migration or an installation of a commercial grade firewall.

Annual Contract
Many of our customers prefer annual contracts. They like knowing exactly what our deliverables are to them. Popular reoccurring client deliverables include: network and server upgrades and maintenance, desktop repairs, software upgrades, SPAM monitoring, in most cases, on a daily or biweekly basis, sometimes as little as monthly.

For businesses with more than 10 desktops, we suggest an annual contract. A business of this size requires ongoing network, server and desktop maintenance, in order to minimize unplanned downtime.

In-house IT Staff
Some of our customers like us to provide technicians to work on-site at their business several days a week. The same technician day-in and day-out. You’d look to do this if you’re not quite ready to hire an employee. We’re happy to help you run a breakeven employee versus contractor analysis, and will recommend the exact amount of hours in staffing your business will need, immediately following a complete audit of your computer network.

Hourly Fee
We understand you may have a small list of computer repair, networking or IT service items you want addressed, and then you’d like to be left alone for a bit. That’s fine. We have a handful of customers who use us once a month. You may want us to re-secure your network, upgrade the firmware on your firewall, or clean up a few desktops; Spyware can sure be annoying! We’re happy to oblige. We charge $125 per hour, plus a $50 service visit fee, with a 2-hour service call minimum.

Remote Fee
Many of our customers take advantage of our ongoing remote support. In general, after we’ve visited your business and make your computer systems and networks run smoothly, then we can check in remotely on a reoccurring basis to perform many ongoing maintenance items.

It’s always more affordable to proactively maintain a healthy computer network, than fix it after it breaks. The latter is far more costly. Not just in computer repair costs, but in lost productivity, labor and revenue.
